Even though i don't do anything in school cause I have hekka hard classes like physics, which i don't understand at all cause it's all in thai but its still fun to just hang out with my friends! Many of my friends are cheerleaders! but the cheerleaders here are much cooler than in the U.S. haha they do these amazingg dance routines! in fact I helped choreograph a little part of a cheer it was really fun! On the weekends that I'm not in school I went to Khao Yai, which is in the "country" of thailand! it's very beautiful and green:) My host mom took me my sister catherine and Canada to go stay with a few of her friends for the weekend and it was really fun! week O N E.!!

Well, I'm not gonna lie but the first couple days of week one were pretty hard. I was trying new food, introduced to weather that was beyond my expectations, and surrounded buy a culture i new nearly nothing about. The moment I stepped out of the plane i was overwhelmed with feelings like excited and even nervousness. Many rotarians were there to greet me as well as my wonderful host family. We went to eat right away in the airport, I thought I wanted noodles but they were quite..... different, and they were pink:) I got to my house and went to bed, but little did I know I would be waking up SUPER early in the next couple hours. My body would not let me sleep, haha I feel bad for my host sister cause I woke her up super early in the morning, she probably thought I was crazy or something! She was so nice and understanding though, later that morning we walked around some of Lopburi and came back to watch Prison Break. I have never heard of prison break and it's a tv show in the U.S. hahaha i fell in love and now I'm addicted, it's so suspenseful! After watching Prison Break for four hours or more kun pa (host father) drove us around to all the tourist sights in Lopburi. It was sooooooo hot, but fun and really beautiful, I took a lot of pictures. That night we went to eat at a Vietnamese/ Thai restraunt where the food was once again... different. I didn't eat to much, the smell didn't sit very well with my stomach and I just didn't have an appetite to eat; no appetite continued for at least another day or so. When I got home I was really questioning myself about everything, soo I called home (I know I'm not supposed to call.. but I did) hearing my mom's voice I just started to miss her more:[ On the third day I was here I spent a lot of my time out and about we went to see my school and I met some of Garfield's friends who she went to school with, one had the cutest sugar glyder:) I want one soo bad!! I also got to feed an elephant ha and see all the monkey's of Lopburi!! Then we went to Grandma's house for mother's day, Garfield was practicing her Thai dancing it was really cool. We went to the market where once again I tried some more different food. After we went to grandma's house we went to my third host families home to have a welcome party for me and Catherine; Catherine is an exchange student from Oregon, she's pretty cool, and a going away party for Garfield (going to Crested Butte, Colorado) and Grace (going to Indiana). It was really fun there were a lot of people there and we also got to get to know eachother better. I also met Dear, she went onher exchange to Pensylvania, I loveeeee this girl! She's soo funny:) The fourth day I was here me and Fern had our girls day.. We went shopping and ate pizza mmmmmm it was soo good. She showed me around Lopburi even more.. Lopburi seems so big to me! Then later that night/early morning we got ready for Garfield's bon voyage to Colorado. We were at the airport for a long time.. I think we left Lopburi at 2am and got back at 8am. Everyone was so exhausted so we just rested all that day. The fifth day I was here I got to see some really awesome Thai dancers at a festival(high light of the night). Sixth day consisted of going to a really amazing Japanese buffet restraunt with Fern's boyfriend and his sister. His sister is really cool and we talk everyday:) The buffet was nothing like I've ever seen before; the food came to me on a conveyer belt and I had to cook it in boiling hot water! It was delicious, I also tried sushi for the first time, and I didnt like it so much... That day Fern had to leave back to Bangkok:( I didn't want her to leave.. she is too much fun! The seventh day I was here Kun Pa and Kun Mai took me to this this amazing temple near Saraburi. It was soo beautiful and then we went to Grandma's house again where i learned how to cook stir fry, my mom should be proud of me;) ha and everyone that knows I don't cook!! I know I've already written about my week but I have one more day to share about and that was yesterday. yesterday I went to play bad mitton with a German exchange student and her host brother and host cousin. I was HORRIBLE at first, ahhh it was soo embarrassing, but then by the end I didn't do too bad. They said I improved a lot for just a couple of hours and it was really hot in the gym, I was sweating like a pig.. ewww it was soo gross!! Okay well now I'm done telling about my first week and a day of my second week here in Thailand; here are a couple of things I've learned/experienced:

1. Thailand is reallyyyyy hot!
2. Thai people drive crazy! especially Kun Pa, it's like being in the movie Fast and the Furious.
3. The food is really different, but I've found a couple things that I like, chicken and rice and chicken on a stick:)
4. The language is very difficult to learn, but I'm getting better, better than when I first came.
5. I've met some pretty cool people.

P.S. Sorry this post is soo long.. I'll keep it updated more often, I just had soo much to share. Thank you Diane for being someone I can talk to you really helped me through the first couple of days I was here. And Zane youre a great guy and I'm glad I can talk to you too:))) And I love all my friends and family!!
